Creative Health and Facilitation
With over fifteen years experience, Gemma's practice is rooted in the body, wellbeing, curiousity and playfulness. She encourage participants to explore at their own pace, using the body as a gateway to imagination whilst remaining present in the world around them. Her workshops and classes blend mindful movement, improvised dance scores, theatre games and opportunities for writing and drawing. Her inclusive approach welcomes all bodies and levels of experience, with optional touch-based exercises (or creative alternatives).
In 2019 she received an Arts Council England 'Developing Your Creative Practice' award to deepen her teaching and artistic practice. She has recently undertaken a nine-month trainign in Creative Health Practice with Creative Shift (Bristol).
